Dakesawa Trek in Kamikochi from Hirayu Hot Springs

On the climb from Kamikochi along the Hotaka Mountain Range, Dakesawa sits at an elevation of 2,230 m. With the Hotaka Mountains in front and behind, Dakesawa is a mountain climbing base geared towards advanced climbers. It is popular spot for people to visit on a day trip and see the Hotaka Mountain Range up close. Guides certified by the local guide association will lead you. When you get back to Hirayu Hot Springs, it is customary to gradually recover from your weariness in Hirayu no Mori’s hot spring.
